ALL is set for Call to Worship’s highly anticipated 16th anniversary celebration to be held at the Harare Gardens today.
Thousands of worshippers are expected to flood the venue for an unforgettable day of spiritual revival, live music and a powerful celebration of faith.
The event promises a spiritually charged atmosphere, featuring some of Zimbabwe’s foremost gospel artistes including Takesure Zama Ncube and Pastor Josh Kays along with diverse church choirs and inspiring worship leaders.
Together, they will mark this significant milestone in Zimbabwe’s Christian calendar — a true testimony to God’s faithfulness over the years.
Pastor Philip Pike, co-founder of Call to Worship Global, expressed his excitement ahead of the event, saying everything was now place, with the final preparations wrapped up to ensure an inspired gathering of worshippers.
“We are thrilled to celebrate 16 years of transforming lives through worship. This is going to be a truly powerful and inspired moment, as we reflect on the journey and celebrate with thousands of worshippers,” he said.
This year’s celebration runs under the theme High and Lifted Up and will spotlight the incredible growth and profound impact Call to Worship has had on Zimbabwe’s Christian community.
Since its humble beginnings in 2008, Call to Worship has blossomed into a vibrant movement, igniting a spiritual awakening that has drawn worshippers from around the nation and beyond.

Endorsed by over 200 leading pastors during a special breakfast meeting last Friday, the event has been hailed as a critical platform for unity of the faith and spiritual growth.
The celebration will be headlined by some of Zimbabwe’s top gospel stars, among them the award-winning Takesure Zama Ncube, Pastor Josh Kays and the Call to Worship Choir.
They are expected to lead deep and moving worship that will “lift up the name of Jesus!”.
This year will also see the return of Youth Power Praise, an exciting segment designed to empower and showcase young, rising gospel talents.
Youth from various communities will take the stage, showcasing their passion and enthusiasm for Christ through music and dance, ensuring an all-inclusive, multi-generational experience that bodes well for the future.
DJ Slam will kick off the programme in the morning, energising the crowd with uplifting gospel beats, followed by heart-stirring performances from a line-up of musical groups, including the St Mary’s High School Choir, Zvirevo Zvedenga Gospel Choir from Kwekwe, Psalms of Praise, Zaoga Braeside Choir, and many others as the stage is set for an unforgettable day of celebration.
Over the last 16 years, Call to Worship has steadfastly provided a space for Christians to gather and worship together and grow spiritually.
Each anniversary has seen this gathering grow in both size and influence, with last year’s event drawing a record-breaking crowd.
Its increasing reach has also been enhanced by live streaming and social media broadcasts, allowing people around the world to join in the worship experience.
“Call to Worship isn’t just about a gathering; it’s about transformation. We’ve seen countless lives changed through the worship and the message, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store this year,” Pastor Pike added.
