MZANSI Magic has confirmed that it’s telenovela Champions, will go off air on January 31, 2025, after season one.
Champions was launched in February this year and currently airs Monday to Friday at 7pm.
The telenovela features stars Jo-anne Reynecke, Sello Maake ka-Ncube, Tumisho Masha, Kwenzo Ngcobo, Kgomotso Christopher, Keitu Sankola, Thato Dithebe, Minki Malatji, Rethabile Mohapi, Thabo Malema and many more talented cast members.
MultiChoice Zimbabwe corporate affairs and public relations head Charity Njanji said until January 2025, Champions viewers can expect more exciting cameo appearances and a continuation of jaw-dropping and surprising storylines.
“Firstly, to our cast, Tshedza Pictures, sponsors and advertisers, thank you for your ongoing support for Champions, and your efforts in entertaining our Mzansi Magic viewers,” she said.
“Mzansi Magic plays a pivotal role in entertaining viewers during prime-time and we continue to keep up with the latest television trends.”
Njanji said they were currently in the development stages of several new show concepts not limited to telenovelas and fine-tuning key returning shows to ensure that Mzansi Magic’s prime-time 2025 slots are well received.
