SHOWMAX has announced the return of its exclusive BBNaija talk show, The Buzz, hosted by the award-winning media personality Toke Makinwa.
Showmax is an African streaming service that is jointly owned by MultiChoice, the producer of content in Africa and Comcast, one of the world’s biggest media companies.
Available to Showmax customers across Africa, The Buzz will premiere on August 1, with new episodes airing every Thursday in addition to the live, 24/7 BBNaija season 9 show, also available to Showmax customers in Africa.
On The Buzz, Makinwa, alongside celebrity guests and top BBNaija show commentators, will dissect all the moments in this season of the reality show, giving their candid opinions and predictions in a no-holds-barred talk session.
The show will also feature never-before-seen footage from the house and other engaging segments.
Sharing her excitement on returning as host for a new season, Makinwa said: “Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of juicy gossip, sizzling drama and unfiltered fun. We are diving deep into the BBNaija house, spilling secrets, and serving up all the tea you crave.”
“Trust me, this season is going to be twice as wild and I cannot wait for you all to join the party.”
The executive head of content and channels, West Africa at MultiChoice, Busola Tejumola, said Big Brother Naija season 9 and The Buzz were set to provide unmatched entertainment experiences for audiences across Africa on Showmax.
