Top artistes to light up OK Grand Challenge after-party

The after party show, which will also celebrate yet another successful running of the OK Grand Challenge promotion, will be a mixture of sungura, dancehall, gospel and contemporary performances.

BY AGATHA CHUMA JAH Prayzah, Aleck Macheso, Nutty O, Freeman, Suluman Chimbetu, Holy Ten and Zimpraise Choir are billed to set ablaze the OK Grand Challenge after-party tomorrow at Borrowdale Race Course.

Gates will open at 8am, while the main horse race and draws are scheduled for between 3pm and 6pm and the after party kicks off thereafter to celebrate with those who would have won prizes that include cars.

The after party show, which will also celebrate yet another successful running of the OK Grand Challenge promotion, will be a mixture of sungura, dancehall, gospel and contemporary performances.

Macheso’s manager Tich Makahamadze confirmed to NewsDay Life & Style that the sungura maestro is ready to give an enthralling performance.

“Macheso is ready to give a well-crafted performance. He is a man who never disappoints his fans and he is not ready to start now. Fans should expect a thrilling act from him,” Makahamadze said.

Nutty O, who is one of the artistes making waves in the showbiz scene, also confirmed that he would give a well-polished act.

“I always seek to deliver my best, and for this one fans should expect a fire full experience,” he said.

Returning from a recent Kariba show, Freeman also confirmed that his next bus stop is the Grand Challenge.

“One man show, thanx Kariba! Next Stop Harare OK Grand Challenge June 4 see u there!” he declared.

Sulumani Chimbetu also posted on his Facebook page: “Heya Heya our weekend diary.”

The day promises to fun-filled for the whole family with other entertainment activities such as sky diving, karate exhibitions and performance from the police band all on the programme.
