Consistency cultivates perfection and pushes one to be a master in whatever they do. Being consistent helps one to build habits that can positively impact and help them in whatever area they are consistent in. When you are consistent, you build the momentum that you need to achieve your goals, you stay motivated, which gives you strength and wisdom to progress. King Solomon said sow seeds in the morning and don’t break consistency also sow seeds in the evening. Ecclesiastes 11:6. Many people give up when they are about to have a breakthrough. Consistent people are not focused on the price but the task.
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Ecclesiastes 9:10.
The late Myles Munroe said “The wealthiest place in the world is not the gold mines of South America or the oil fields of Iraq or Iran. They are not the diamond mines of South Africa or the banks of the world. The wealthiest place on the planet is just down the road. It is the cemetery. There lie buried companies that were never started, inventions that were never made, bestselling books that were never written, and masterpieces that were never painted. In the cemetery is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential.” King Solomon said whatever your hands findeth to do, do it will all your strength because there is nothing that you will take with you to the grave. The late Myles Munroe was echoing the thoughts of King Solomon when he spoke about how the graves are littered with unfulfilled dreams.
Thomas Edson said, “I have not failed 10,000 times — I’ve successfully found 10,000 ways that will not work.” Being consistent is not only in areas you excel in, but in being consistent you gain ability to perfect your work or your business. What dream has God put on your heart, what business are you building? The key is being consistent. Remember there is nothing you will carry to the grave. Solomon understood if you are to be a success you have to sow in the evening and in the morning with the same strength. Some people have strength when the task seems easy but in the night season of life when it’s hard they don’t sow with the same strength. At times when sowing you may not know which seed will produce a good harvest so the secret is consistency.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. Ecclesiastes 9:11. Many people have failed to see the reason why time and chance happens to all. Chance meets those who are prepared because they would have sowed in the morning and in the evening time . Yes, the race is not to the swift but if you never trained or you are not physically prepared when its time to race you may not have the strength to win. Many people assume chance comes to the unprepared but time and chance meet those that are prepared and consistent . Are you sowing in the morning and are you sowing in the evening? . How consistent have you been in that work, business or ministry?
