A 57-year-old Shamva woman allegedly killed her husband following a misunderstanding involving a solar inverter.

Esther Bwanause is assisting police with investigations after she fatally assaulted her husband with a brick.

Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson sergeant major Samuel Chikasha confirmed the case.

"I can confirm a murder case in Shamva where a wife fatally assaulted her husband over an inverter misunderstanding," Chikasha said.
