Man kills girlfriend for demanding sex

A Guruve woman was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend after she insisted on having sex with him against his will.

A Guruve woman was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend after she insisted on having sex with him against his will.

Durai Chimujiri (40) of Bopoto village in Guruve was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend Bhandera Chibvaru (43) on Friday night.

"I can confirm a murder case in Guruve where a man allegedly killed his girlfriend in a sex dispute," Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed.

Chibvaru allegedly invited his now deceased girlfriend for a sleepover last Wednesday and all went well.

On Friday, the two went to a nearby bar and drank beer and the now deceased demanded to go to Chibvaru's house for a sleepover.

Chibvaru agreed, but had a change of heart along the way and that did not go well with Chimujiri.

Chimujiri insisted on the sleepover, but he refused and became violent.

He pushed his girlfriend and she fell on her back and died on the spot.

Police urged couples to seek counselling when they have differences.
