A 20 YEAR-OLD Plumtree man allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend and her mother, who is a police officer after she refused to reconcile with him.
Eric Dube appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware where he was facing two counts of assault.
He was remanded in custody until December 24.
Prosecutor Selestine Madziwa alleged that on November 6, Dube visited his ex-girlfriend, Princess Dube, in a bid to win back her love.
She refused as she accused him of being promiscuous.
An infuriated Dube denied the allegations and started assaulting her with open hands.
He was refrained from further assaulting the woman by Simaedwa Nkomo, her mother who is also a cop.
He allegedly pelted them with bricks.
