RENOWNED pharmaceutical giant, Greenwood Pharmacy, has sealed a deal with MoozaCash that will see its clients receiving medication at home.
In addition, diasporans will also be able to purchase medicine for their loved ones from their countries of residence.
Greenwood Pharmacy director Primrose Ndoro said they had answered the call by their customers who were experiencing cash challenges.
“We realised that some of our clients, especially those who need monthly medication, were having challenges in accessing cash here in Zimbabwe,” she said.
“We then did a survey and realised that most of them were getting money from outside the country.
“We then looked for a money remittance partner which could assist our clients.”
Ndoro added that they settled for MoozaCash because it had demonstrated the ability and agility to deal with the ever-changing dynamics of the Zimbabwe currency.
MoozaCash chief executive officer Tatenda Muzariri said while their company had various product-based packages for Zimbabwe, the Greenwood Pharmacy package was tailor-made for senior citizens.

“Our primary focus on this deal is those parents who have children out of the country,” he said.
“We are saying your parents do not have to go to a money agent and stand in a queue for hours before they can get medication.
“All they have to do is deposit money in their host nation and then we will take the medication to their parents.”
Muzariri added that diasporans could deposit more than the amount required for medication and MoozaCash would take the change to their parent.
