ZANU PF MP promotes anti-drugs campaign

Zanu PF Mazowe North MP, Tsungai Makumbe in suit presenting the trophy

Zanu PF Mazowe North Member of Parliament (MP), Tsungai Makumbe, on Saturday led an anti-drugs campaign through a sports gala at Kamudhoma farm in Mvurwi.

Makumbe injected US$16050 towards the sports gala dubbed North Dyke.

Speaking to this publication, the youthful MP said they were fighting drug abuse through sports and musical shows.

"We are fighting drugs which have become a menace in the country hence having soccer, netball matches and musical shows will drive youths away from those intoxicating substances," Makumbe said.

He promised to spread the anti-drugs campaign through sports across the whole constituency.

Mazowe ward 29 councillor Norman Mazhowo( ZANU PF) who also contributed $800 pledged to continue supporting youths in the fight against drug abuse.
