Braai Fest spectacle dazzles revellers

The headline act, Winky D did not disappoint as he introduced a new segment into his performance

A HUGE crowd thronged the Old Hararians Sports Club for the Castle Lager Braai Festival, an event that has now become a prominent fixture on many party goers' calendars, at the weekend where they revelled with pomp and fan-fare.

The event that is coined the biggest braai day in Zimbabwe lived up to its billing as meat lovers indulged in various portions of meat along with beverages of their choice at affordable prices.

Performances from South African musician Kamo Mphela, rapper Saintfloew and an electrifying curtain raiser set from Master H wowed the crowd.

The headline act, Winky D did not disappoint as he introduced a new segment into his performance, which he calls  the "Lyrical Tiki Taka".

A bold move that proved successful as it was well received by fans in attendance and online, the mercurial lyricist performed a freestyle on American rapper Kendrick Lamar's Not like us beat.

The ever innovative Gafa proved yet again why he has become a crowd favorite at the fiesta by  maintaining his world class performing standards.

Braai Fest is one of the many events and shows that Delta Corporation hosts under their flagship brand Castle Lager.

This year, an inaugural edition of the Castle lager Braai Fest was hosted at Chinhoyi's Jongwe Corner on October 12 with multiple Disc Jockeys taking turns to entertain the crowd.

Meanwhile,  Delta has lined up a couple of events in the coming months including the Carling Black label Clash of the Djs and the Chibuku Road To Fame finals to be held in Harare on November 9.
