Model advocates for talent monetisation

Kamuzonde emphasised the potential of women to alleviate poverty and reduce complaints about financial hardship through self-empowerment and learning from successful entrepreneurs.

Model and entrepreneur Trish Ruvarashe Kamuzonde says she is passionate about empowering women through talent discovery and monetisation.

“Beyond modelling, I'm also a businesswoman, selling wigs and offering hairdressing services,” Kamuzonde said.

“I believe women can achieve financial independence by identifying their strengths and turning them into profitable ventures.”

Kamuzonde emphasised the potential of women to alleviate poverty and reduce complaints about financial hardship through self-empowerment and learning from successful entrepreneurs.

Her modelling journey began in 2022 at Truth Models Academy in Bulawayo.

Lacking industry knowledge initially, she drew inspiration from watching Miss Zimbabwe and eventually decided to pursue modelling.

“Exercise is my therapy,” she shared.

She maintains a rigorous workout routine, incorporating gym sessions five days a week and a healthy diet.

Kamuzonde emphasised the importance of removing starch from her diet to manage weight and prevent diseases like obesity and heart disease.

Offering advice to aspiring models, Kamuzonde encouraged passion and perseverance.

She highlighted the challenges of dealing with negativity and the importance of maintaining a strong personal image.

Kamuzonde’s career highlight was participating in the Miss University of Zimbabwe pageant, where she overcame stage fright and won the Miss Photogenic title.

She expressed a desire to give back to the community, particularly children in need, and plans to partner with healthcare organisations in the future.
