Top honours for Togaraseyi Projects

Speaking on the sidelines of the awards dinner, Togaraseyi, who is also a board member of the Zimbabwe CEO’s Network, said he was humbled by the honour at the same time challenged to continue giving his best in business.

Multi award-winning construction company Togaraseyi Projects won big at the Zimbabwe Institute of Management Awards held at a local hotel this Wednesday after their CEO, Christopher Togaraseyi, was named Businessman of the Year 2024 while the company also bagged the Private Sector Awards of the Year gong.

Speaking on the sidelines of the awards dinner, Togaraseyi, who is also a board member of the Zimbabwe CEO’s Network, said he was humbled by the honour at the same time challenged to continue giving his best in business.

“We have come a long way with this business and we have continued to reinvent in sync with industry dynamics over the year,” he said.

“We even rebranded and invested a lot in brand positioning over the years and we are greatly encouraged by the honours coming our way.

“These accolades are also a reminder of the great work ahead of us.

“As a brand come of age, we must continue leading the market and giving our customers the best experience possible.”

The 2024 Zimbabwe Institute of Management national awards ceremony, was a great showcase for the local business community with various players from different sectors of the economy honoured for their innovation and contribution to the country’s economic growth and development.

Of the continued honours that his company has received over the years, he said the accolades were a befitting acknowledgement of their work over time.

“This is a big endorsement for our work and we are happy that our range of services have made it real, particularly at a time both government and the private sector are pushing the housing-for-all narrative,” the entrepreneur said.

The Wednesday night awards come on the backdrop of other prestigious accolades namely ‘Company of the Year: Architectural and Design Service’, ‘Platinum award in the Construction Service Sector category to name a few.

The Zimbabwe Institute of Management awards recognise organisations and individuals that have demonstrated excellence in leadership and management throughout the year. The theme for this year’s event was: ‘Time to Evolve: Forging sustainable organisational process through practical and game-changing solutions. 

Togaraseyi Projects has carved a niche in the competitive construction sector, earning a reputation for reliability and high-quality workmanship.
