ZIMBABWE’S beauty queens were not just stunning on stage this year, but were powerful voices advocating for change, leaving their mark on the world.

As the year rounds up, we celebrate these inspiring women whose achievements extend far beyond the catwalk.

Brooke Bruk Jackson: Not only did she grace the Miss Universe stage after a 22-year hiatus for Zimbabwe, but she also championed financial inclusion for women in the informal sector, earning a top 10 spot as a Voice of Change Ambassador.

Kudzai Matizha: This multi-talented law student isn't just Miss Zimbabwe Queen 2023; she's also the founder of Ruvheneko, a project tackling illiteracy through book donations, workshops, and targeting children at risk.

Courtney Jongwe: Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2023 isn't just about environmental beauty; she advocates for sustainable solutions to plastic pollution, aligning with SDG 13 and promoting responsible waste management.

Charlotte Muziri: Beyond winning Miss Fitness at Miss International 2023, this author, philanthropist, and champion of sustainable development writes about ethical resource management, proving beauty and brains go hand-in-hand.

Sakhile Zie Dube: Not only did she win Miss Supranational 2023 Regional Model of the Year, but she also uses her platform to empower orphans through her Zibusiso Foundation, providing education, skills training, and resources.

These brilliant women showcased the true essence of a queen: using their voices and platforms to make a difference in the world. They remind us that beauty comes in many forms, and true impact lies in the causes we champion and the lives we touch.
