Exide rewards loyalty

Leading automotive and solar batteries producer and distributor Exide Zimbabwe officially ended their 2023 Winter promotion in style with a fully subscribed prizes presentation on Friday night.

The prize presentation, which saw 15 winners walking away with a full solar system valued  at US$2 500 each, took place at Motor City Exide Express in Harare and was attended by top executives of the company who took turns to thank their loyal support over the years.

Speaking on the sidelines of the prizes presentation, the company's General Manager Kudzai Pasipanodya said they were a hybrid brand and the annual winter promotion was their way of rewarding loyalty and thanking their clients for the support.

"Exide is the battery of choice and we have been a consistent market leader in Zimbabwe since 1952," he said.

"We are happy that all our products and services ranging from the automotive batteries, solar batteries to the industrial division have continued to be the client's favourite."

The company clocked the 12th edition of their  Powered by Exide Winter Promotion this year with variously winners from all over Zimbabwe being rewarded for their loyalty.

"This year we are marking our 12th edition of the Powered by Exide Winter promotion and the number of coupon entries demonstrates continued trust in our brand.

As a leading battery manufacturer and distributor, we want the best for our clients and our support service and customer experience is second to none," Pasipanodya said.

To ensure that they leave no one behind in this year's 3-month promotion, the company's sales and marketing manager Panganai Kufakunesu said they divided the country into four regions namely Manicaland, Mashonaland, Matebeleland and Midlands - Masvingo which gave all their clients across Zimbabwe equal chances at winning.

"We divided the country into 4 regions and held monthly draws for three months where we picked a winner for each region. 

“We then had other draws from our WhatsApp Platform as well as the Exide App facility where we have tapped into technology to ensure convenience for the client," Kufakunesu said.

Juliet Masaka from Mutare who won through the WhatsApp draw, thanked Exide for their quality products and services.
