GWANDA’s Manz’amnyama Night Club will host the Matabeleland South provincial competition for this year’s edition of the Chibuku Road to Fame.

Running under the theme Imba Tinzwe/Cula Sizwe, the Chibuku Road to Fame kicked off with provincial competitions yesterday.

Mashonaland and Midlands provinces hosted the competitions at Kwa Chief in Makaha, Mutoko and Leisure Lounge at Gokwe Centre respectively.

Next Saturday, all roads will lead to Manz’amnyama Night Club for the Matabeleland South provincial competitions.

“We are ready to host the provincial showcase and we assure the organiers, competitors and clients that we are ready to host you,” said BZ from Manz’amnyama Night Club.

Chibuku Road to Fame is a Delta Beverages- sponsored band competition that began in 2001.

It is organised by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe.

Last year Afro-fusion and jazz contemporary outfit Grade 2D won the finals at an event held at Glamis Arena in Harare.

The provincial competitions end on October 7 with the finals slated for October 14.
