The Counselling Boys album launch date set

The Counselling Boys

UNHERALDED sungura musician Danmore Dzedze and The Counselling Boys will launch their second album titled Gumai Dova at Club Fox in Glen View 3 on July 22.

Top sungura musicians Romeo Gasa, Tatenda Pinjisi, Trymore Bande, Shantell Sithole and Culture Love will warm up the stage at the show, which kicks off at 6pm.

Their debut album titled Gogogoi was a flop, but this time around Dzedze said they put a lot of effort into the project.

“Our new album Gumai Dova is a seven-track album, which we believe we have done well in. We are very hopeful as a band that it appeals to the people as it did to us,” he said.

“Our first album Gogogoi was not well received as we had anticipated but we are very hopeful on this one.”

For the production, The Counselling Boys got assistance from medical doctor and sungura fan Johannes Marisa.
