Garry Mapanzure readies new album

UNITED KINGDOM-based musician Garry Mapanzure

UNITED KINGDOM-based musician Garry Mapanzure has introduced his upcoming album through the release of a lead single — Kumafaro.

Released on Friday, Kumafaro which aptly means where the happiness is, is an up tempo dance song which gets listeners on their feet or nodding their heads as they enjoy the song.

The song serves as a lead single to the album which Mapanzure said is in its final stages of production.

“I try something new and out of my comfort zone. In the song I talk about people having the best of their lives.

“I showcase my ability to write and ride on a beat that people are unfamiliar with; hearing Garry Mapanzure on a whole different type of art form from the love songs they associate me with.

“My album will be released later this year. This album comprises the Garry Mapanzure of love, happiness, dance as well as heartfelt songs.

“I gracefully managed to team up with other industry associates from producers to artists and I can’t wait to serve it. The album is now complete, it’s in the final stages of sound engineering.”

Mapanzure is known for tracks such as Zvinoita, TV room, Aida with Shinsoman, Slow, and Pindirai among others.
