Chics’ Galaxy: Hillary Makaya engaged?

Hillary Makaya

The internet has been awash with congratulatory messages for model Hillary Makaya after she posted on her Instagram story a short video showing off her engagement ring with the caption "If you like it, put a ring on it".

One would think that it was merely a caption, but looking at previous pictures of the model, she had no ring but now it seems as though she can’t help, but show it off in her posts.

Also, she has been reposting the congratulatory posts on her story which is a confirmation of the engagement.

She recently posted a video on her Instagram feed captioned “wifey treats” where she was opening gift bags of labels Gucci and  Louis Vuiton while showing off her engagement ring.

Although the 21-year-old model and businesswoman has been very private about whom she is dating, she gave a hint on the type of man she is into in an interview with DJ Ollah on Star FM.

Makaya revealed that she is engaged to a local man.

“I love my Shona man, I love speaking Shona and I think I will be putting in a lot of effort when I get home and speak to my non-Zimbabwean husband in English,” she said.

“I want to get married to a Zimbabwean guy, that’s my answer.

“I am getting married to a Zimbabwean guy.”

Makaya once dated Robert Mugabe Junior, who is one of the late President Mugabe's sons, but they called it quits and her followers began to assume that she was dating music promoter Mr Styllz whom she is mostly seen with.

However, the model said Mr Styllz is not her lover but they are rather best friends.
