Xiddo to release new album

In an interview with Standard Style, Xiddo said 10 tracks album will be released in September.

BY KUDZAI CHITSATSO GWERU-based artist Forward Maposa, whose stage name is Xiddo, is set to release his fourth album titled One Day is One Day next month.

In an interview with Standard Style, Xiddo said 10 tracks album will be released in September.

“One Day is One Day is the first track followed by Maidei, Toko, Ndega, Manginde, Nyokamhenyu, Chiramwiwa, Mazuva Ekutanga, Chukucha and Shinga,” he said.

The Midlands superstar said the upcoming album is his biggest project and believes it is going to be his breakthrough in the music industry.

“One Day is One Day album is my biggest project because I got an opportunity to work with big producers from Harare like Cymplex, JMP, Kutsho and Sunshine,” he said.

“So I believe it maybe my breakthrough in the music industry.”

Xiddo said he will launch the album in Gweru first before moving to other cities, including Harare.

“I am also going to release the song titled Maidei with visuals before end of this month so that people can feel the new sound,” he said.

Xiddo started singing in 2015 and has three other albums on his sleeve namely Kamuitiro kangu, Zvirimuropa Rangu and Ziya Rangu.

He also won Best male artist in Gweru at Midlands teen awards also he was a brand ambassador for Itel in Midlands.

Currently he is working as a brand ambassador for Casa photos.
