We need God in our every day life and as a people or a Christian nation our lifestyles are better guided by our faith and commitment to a religion says Gweru-based gospel musician, Martin Shumba (21).
Announcing the release of his debut album yesterday, the former Fletcher High school pupil said times were changing, and believers should obey God and his word.
“Inspired by unfailing Christian lifestyle, l started recording gospel music in January 2020. Bring Them In, is my debut single which was recorded by Dj Smart at Smartmuzik.
“My music gift was cultivated when l was participating in a student choir called Living Harmony back in the days at Fletcher High,” Shumba, currently a student of chemical technology at MSU told Standard Lifestyle.
Mentored by Emmanuel Salimu, a professional music teacher and Pastor Medecine Sayidi, the acoustic guitarist further said the project dwells on encouraging people to commit to Christ regardless of the heavy burden of unstable tides affecting the world today in the form of novel diseases.
“Depite the many difficulties and disappointments we face on daily basis the Lord’s promise to us remains unchanged,”Shumba said.
“As a minister l am confident that listening to this music offers a life-changing experience that helps one build their relationship with God beyond the day of their conviction.”
