The doubles pair of Benjamin and Courtney Lock had to dig deep to beat Indians SD Dev and Adil Kalyanpur 6 - 3 3 - 6 10 - 8 to win their second title in a space of eight days at the M15 Addis Ababa 02A in Ethiopia yesterday.
Last week, the Lock brothers won the M15 Addis Ababa 01A in straight sets beating Maik Steiner from Germany and Indian Chirag Duhan 6 - 3 7 - 6.
The run-up to the final was quite routine for the Lock brothers who did not drop a set until the final.
They began the journey with a 6 - 3 6 - 4 victory over the Japanese pair of Issei Ikamura and Kazuma Kawachi in the last 16.
In the quarter finals the Zimbabwe pair accounted for Swiss Rafael Ymer and Ben Weintraub from Israel 6 - 2 6 - 2.
Waiting in the semifinals was the Indian pair of Chirag Duhan and Ishaque Eqbal and the Zimbabweans came out tops 6-4 6-2 to progress to their second final in as many weeks.
And it was in the final that they needed a third set to claim the honours.
In the singles competition, Benjamin Lock's bid for another back- to-back title came to an end after he was beaten 7-6 6-3 by Indian Siddharth Vishwakarma in the semifinals yesterday.
