DYNAMOS have signed defender Nomore Chinyerere who was offloaded by FC Platinum last week, as the Harare giants bolster their squad for the upcoming Premier Soccer League season.
Chinyerere is one of eight players who were released by the former champions, in a purge that also claimed the scalps of Petros Mhari, Gift Mbweti, Perfect Chikwende, Raphael Muduviwa and Innocent Mucheneka.
To probably escape the guillotine Pure Platinum defender Gift Bello has hung up his boots.
Dynamos chairperson Moses Maunganidze refused to give away much on his club's transfer dealings so far, saying they will make an official announcement next week, but a source told this publication that the leftback has penned a two year deal.
“We are still finalising the deals and hopefully by next week we should have finished and ready to give you the list of our new players,” Maunganidze said.
The club has been linked with a number of players in recent days, including Yadah's highly rated midfielder Blessing Ndereki, Manica Diamonds goalkeeper Tedius Baye who is coming to replace Taimon Mvula and Bulawayo Chief's Obriel Chirinda.
“There has been a lot of speculation going around, but I urge our stakeholders to remain calm. We are in the process of assessing prospective players. We have reserved this week and next week to assess the targeted players. They will undergo the requisite processes, and thereafter we advise the public. We are not in a hurry because we retained the bulk of the players. We are taking our time to make sure that we get the right players,” Maunganidze said.
The source, however, confirmed Chinyerere's deal, with the former Hwange man expected to fight for the leftback position with Kelvin Moyo. Another leftback in the club's books, is Brendon Mpofu, whose Dynamos career has been blighted by injuries and is expected to go out on loan.

The source added that young defender Blessing Makwinja from a lower division club had also signed for DeMbare, and so is South Africa-based Zimbabwean midfielder Temptation Chiwunga.
Chiwunga is coming as a direct replacement for Junior Makunike, who has left for Simba Bhora.
Thirty-one-year-old Namibian striker Sadney Urikhob and Malawi’s 26-year-old striker Hassan Kajoke are also rumoured to be close to joining the team, with the source confiding that the club is working around the clock to get work permits for the duo.
Dynamos are desperate to bolster their squad as they prepare to return to the African Safari where they will feature in the Caf Confederation Cup this year.
A number of players are also expected to leave, to make way for new arrivals.
Tinashe Makanda, Nyasha Chintuli and Jayden Bakari are all set to be loaned out after failing to impress last season.
Goalkeeper Mvula was released last week and has since linked up with Makunike at Simba Bhora.
