CHICKEN INN . . . . . . . . . (0)2
BULAWAYO Chiefs twice came back from behind to force a draw against Chicken Inn in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match filled with drama at Luveve Stadium.
Two red cards were flashed by referee Allan Basvi in the secondhalf which had more life than the lukewarm first half that did not produce any goal.
A sending off for either side in the second half by Basvi had an influence on the final outcome.
Tafadzwa Kutinyu scored for the GameCocks 10 minutes after the break, getting to the end of a Michael Charamba cross to beat goalkeeper Ali Issah.
However, the Chicken Inn midfielder saw red in the 73rd minute for a second bookable offence for rough play.
Chiefs substitute Ayanda Ncube equalised for The Ninjas a minute later with a well-executed shot that left goalkeeper Donovan Bernard a spectator.

The hosts goalkeeper also received his marching orders nine minutes before full time for a crude tackle on The GameCocks striker Brian Muza and Chiefs settled for their forward Obriel Chirinda to go between the sticks.
A free-kick was awarded to Chicken Inn and Charamba shot past a bemused Chirinda from the set-piece in the 87th minute.
Just as Chicken Inn thought they were on their way to collect maximum points, Chiefs put up a brave fight back and six minutes into optional time they were rewarded for their efforts when Mthokozisi Msebe struck from a Farawu Matare cross after substitute Kuda Musharu’s dummy confused the Chicken Inn defenders.
Chiefs coach Lizwe Sweswe observed his boys showed character despite the draw.
“The boys showed some character. The point is okay and we build from this,” Sweswe said.
The Ninjas are yet to pick a win.
For Chicken Inn, Prince Matore was disappointed.
“It’s a disappointing result. We did well, but failed to defend. It is very frustrating because we nearly got the three points in this one,” Matore said.
Chicken Inn have only won one game in five outings and have seven points.
