CAPS United are on the verge of signing Tafadzwa 'Fire' Rusike following his return from Zambia.
Rusike returned to the country following impressive stints with Zambian giants Zanaco and Zesco United.
The talented former Warriors attacking midfielder was spotted training with the Lloyd Chitembwe-coached side in Harare.
Reports say Rusike is set to be handed a one-year contract by the Farai Jere-owned club.
Caps chief executive Charlie Jones said the player was in their plans.
"I can't say anything at the moment because we haven't been cleared. Nothing has been finalised although we are training with him. He could be in our plans," Jones told NewsDay Sport.
The Green Machine has so far snapped up goalkeeper Ashley Reyners from Black Rhinos.
Other pre-season signings at Caps United include midfielders Kelvin Madzongwe and Adrian Silla, as well as defender Godknows Murwira.
