The mistress, Kudzanai Waenderwa (22), from Chiwaridzo in Bindura, was sentenced to three years in jail but will serve two years after a year was suspended.
Waenderwa appeared at the Bindura magistrates' court.
On September 9, Waenderwa went to the residence of her boyfriend and confronted his wife.
She was alone at home and she proceeded to her bedroom demanding that they share the same bed.
She started assaulting the complainant using open hands.
The complainant suffered a miscarriage due to the assault.
Waenderwa was charged for unlawful entry and culpable homicide.
