‘Ex-wife is stalking me’

News

A Harare man on Friday begged magistrate Johanna Mukwesha to stop his estranged wife from stalking him.

Chakolemba Jombi accused Sheilah Chibharo of disturbing his peace ever since they divorced.

Jombi said his ex-wife was making unreasonable demands for the maintenance of their children.

He told the court that recently Chibharo had been following all his movements from his place of residence to work demanding money.

Jombi also accused his ex-wife of violent tendencies.

Chibharo told the court that she had indeed gone to the applicant’s place of work.

In her defence, Chibharo accused her ex of avoiding her and refusing to take care of their minor children.

Mukwesha ordered her to stop stalking her ex-husband and visiting his place of residence and work.
