THE dates for the Chief Dakamela Achievers Awards have been set.
The awards seek to honour individuals and organisations that invest heavily in community development in Matabeleland North province.
Nkayi traditional leader Mbusi Dakamela said the awards would be held on April 4 and 5 this year.
“The Chief Dakamela Achievers Awards return this April for another exciting edition of celebrating excellence, culture and community development in Matabeleland North,” he said.
“Building on the success of previous years, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better with the introduction of exciting new experiences.”
Chief Dakamela said individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to advancing human development would be honoured.
“This year, the event expands its cultural and tourism appeal with the debut of the Camping Village and the return of the flagship Chief Dakamela Bush Dinner,” he said.
Chief Dakamela said delegates would have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the rural cultural experience with the introduction of the Camping Village.
