CCC MP’s protest politicisation of farming inputs

Local
Citizens Coalition for Change

Opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) legislators want to be involved in the distribution of agricultural inputs in their constituencies.

They said this is necessary to ensure fair distribution of the inputs regardless of political affiliation.

Nkayi South legislator, Jabulani Hadebe, said there were indications of unfair treatment distribution of the inputs.

“The government has failed to fairly distribute resources to constituencies which are under our leadership,” Hadebe said.

Tsholotsho North LegislatorL isbon Sibanda echoed similar sentiments.

“In my constituency, we have not received anything including the stock feeds,” Sibanda said.

“We hope our people will receive the farming inputs.”

Agriculture minister Anxious Masuka did not respond to questions sent to him over the matter.
