A 39-YEAR-OLD Bulawayo man on Thursday appeared before magistrate Nomagugu Maphosa facing charges of breaking into a sex worker’s home before robbing her of US$30.
Felix Shumba was, however, remanded out of custody on US$20 bail and will be back in court on October 4 for trial.
According to court papers, early this month, Shumba approached Maxin Gama (35), a sex worker for her services and was charged US$5.
It is reported that on September 15, Shumba went to Gama’s residence again and was charged US$20, but left without being intimate.
Shumba then returned after a while and demanded to be refunded.
He entered Maphosa’s house armed with a brick and took US$30 before demanding sex from her, but she refused.
A police report was filed, leading to the arrest of the accused.
