Police said preliminary investigations revealed that a commuter omnibus suddenly stopped in front of a truck to pick up passengers, resulting in the accident.

HARARE, Mar 19 (NewsDay Live) - Seven people died on the spot while eight others were injured in an accident that occurred at the Dzivarasekwa turn-off along the Harare-Bulawayo Highway this morning.

Police said preliminary investigations revealed that a commuter omnibus suddenly stopped in front of a truck to pick up passengers, resulting in the accident.
