HARARE, March 13, (NewsDayLive) - An Apostolic Faith Mission of Zimbabwe pastor has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for engaging in an incestous relationship with his teenage daughter
The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe confirmed the verdict in a statement Wednesday, saying at one time the incestous relationship which ran between 2022 and 2024, resulted in a pregnancy after the victim, then 16 years old, had been left in the offender's custody.
"They first had sexual relations in his bedroom while they were watching videos. The abuse continued over the years, leading to a pregnancy in 2023, which he later arranged to be terminated.
"A tip-off led to investigations, leading to his arrest. The offender was convicted and sentenced for incest," the NPAZ said.
