Chiredzi housing director in land scam

MASVINGO, Jan 29 (NewsDayLive)- The housing director for Chiredzi Town Council, Emily Paradza, has been convicted for criminal abuse of office and sentenced to 280 hours of community service.

According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, sometime between April 2019 and January last year, Paradza (55) corruptly sold a residential stand allocated to a former employee who had served in council for 30 years.
