Through his lawyers, Liveours Mundieta and Advocate T Mapuranga, he appealed the court’s decision at the Supreme Court.
In an order released this week, the Supreme Court Judges of Appeal Justices Mathonsi, Chiweshe and Mwayera upheld Chikore’s appeal against the ruling by High Court judges Justice Foroma and Justice Kwenda.
The following was the verdict: ‘The accused is found not guilty and acquitted of the charge of rape’.”
