Hexco exam halted after major paper leak

A lecturer who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed the leak.

Over 12 000 first year students were stopped from writing a High Education Examination Council (Hexco) examination on Friday after the paper leaked the previous night, NewsDay can exclusively reveal.

The Entrepreneurial Skills Development (ESD) paper that was meant to be written by students from different colleges across the country is said to have circulated widely on WhatsApp on Thursday night.

A lecturer who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed the leak.

“Yes l can confirm that first year students at various tertiary institutions have been stopped from writing the Entrepreneur Skills Development examination paper."

“Students were informed while already sitting for the exam,” the lecturer said
