Kadoma businessman brutally killed

His son, Leslie, said the assailants did not take away anything from him

POLICE in Kadoma have launched investigations into the brutal murder of local businessman and farmer Eric Tambudze who was reportedly shot dead by unknown assailants at his home in West View, last Friday.

Besides being a farmer, Tambudze was a pharmacist, operated a chain of bookstores and was also involved in gold mining.

His son, Leslie, said the assailants did not take away anything from him.

“I don’t have much to say but that’s what happened. My father was shot dead upon arriving home from work by some people last Friday,” he said .

Mashonaland West provincial police spokesperson Inspector Ian Kohwera referred all questions to national police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi who said he would issue a statement on Monday.

Tambudze is survived by his wife and two children.
