THE Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) is up-to-date with its rates payment to Beitbridge Municipality, contrary to earlier reports that the tax collector was among several corporates with outstanding bills, NewsDay has learnt.
The local authority recently said several organisations based in the border town were in arrears.
The council claimed unpaid bills were stifling service delivery.
But Zimra distanced itself from alleged list of defaulters circulating on social media platforms.
According to documents shown to NewsDay, Zimra settled its obligations to the local authority between August 11 and October 12 this year.
