Multi Millionaire and Businessman, Zimbabwean Presidential Envoy and Ambassador at Large, HE Ambassador Uebert Angel was in Gweru yesterday at Gweru Polytechnic.

He said skill sets that these tertiary institutions are equipping our students with are fundamental to our economic growth and should fully be supported.

As the Presidential Envoy, who is on university tour, an assignment from H.E the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde ED Mnangagwa, Ambassador Angel fully backs Education 5.0 which puts more emphasis on innovation,creativity and productivity. He challenged students to have a positive mindset regardless of any challenges that may come their way.

He founded a non partisan fund, he personally sponsors and this is without recourse to public funds and also not from Government coffers, the “OPEAAL PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP” in honour and support of the President’s efforts to benefit students regardless their political affiliations as stipulated by the President.

The OPEAAL PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP is now reaching over 1000 students benefiting from this initiative.
