SMALL and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) say the recent ZB SMEs Expo offered them an opportunity to showcase their products to potential clients.
Participants said the expo was well-organised, had insightful workshops and abundant networking opportunities.
Speaking to NewsDay Business, SMEs expressed their gratitude to ZB Financial Holdings Limited for holding the two-day expo this past Friday and Saturday in Harare.
The expo was held under the theme, Accelerating growth of SMEs through financial partnerships. This is the second expo the financial institution has organised after the Bulawayo event held last month.
“Basically, as SMEs, we are very happy we have met, along with other entities, with opportunities to view other peoples, work and combine to clinch a niche market… It is our first time here,” Alu Men Private Limited sales and marketing officer Takunda Kanchi said.
Alu Men Private Limited is an SME that specialises in shopfitting glasses and aluminium.
“This expo has helped us to meet potential clients and this is a great opportunity we got from ZB as it helps us not only sell to our customers but to have time to explain about our products to our clients,” Kanchi said.
KW Packaging boss Wiriranayi Biza said the expo has shaped his business.
