Mutare-based construction company Six Nine Construction will next Friday hosts the second edition of the annual business symposium in the city.
The initiative, which is designed to see businesses become brands and running under the theme Global Perspective, Local Impact, will see different speakers including the guest of honour and Manicaland minister of State for Provincial Affairs Misheck Mugadza addressing delegates.
Six Nine Construction marketing director Gloria Nyasha Mudekwa said they were happy to host the second edition of the business symposium.
“We are a fast-growing construction company in Manicaland and seeing that there is a lot we can derive from ideas exchange and experience sharing as business, we decided to host this business symposium which started last year with a sold-out event here in Mutare,” she said.
“This year we are taking it notches higher with the Manicaland Provincial Affairs minister getting to interact with local businesses with a view to understand their challenges while sharing available opportunities for all progressive entrepreneurs.
“Whether you are in business or you want to start one, this is a good opportunity for all.”
Various speakers among them brand strategist and business development consultant Takemore Mazuruse, Six Construction managing director and civil engineer Cosmas Mudekwa, marketing and sales expert Paul River Williams, Outspoken Consultants director Nomalanga Ndlovu, legal practitioner and entrepreneur Shingai Mujeri and media practitioner Cherry Blossom Edwards will make presentations.
Mudekwa said they have designed a fully enhancing programme for the event with tickets already selling at various points in Mutare.

“The programme is rich complete with powerful speakers and an interactive session with the guest of honur,” she said.
“We are giving value for money and we are pulling all the stops for a glitch-free event.
“Advance tickets are selling for $40 and $50 dollars on the day and they are available at Dub Dub 52 Second Street, Mutare and at Diamond Pharmacy.”
