Rodger Dube’s legs were crushed by the coach on Wednesday at the main railway station.

According to an eye witness, Dube was in the caboose when one of his workmates went inside the coach and mistakenly touched a button resulting in the train running over the caboose where Dube was.

“His legs were crushed and he was then taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he died today (yesterday) at around 4pm,” said the eye witness.

Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson Inspector Mandlenkosi Moyo said he had not received any such report.
