YOUNG people will be the deciding factor in the 2023 general elections, and must therefore ensure they steer the country in a direction that will end the economic collapse, a youth organization Project Vote 263 has said.
Director, Youngster Matete speaking at the press conference called on the youth to stand up and make quality decisions in the upcoming general elections because they are the majority.
“Our goal as Project Vote 263 is not just to push for large numbers of young people to come out and vote, but to vote for issues and candidates that will deliver development, young people are locomotives of change, and we implore them to be the change they desire and to also present themselves for public office,” Matete said.
Project Vote 263, also raised concern over the harsh economic situation in the country, saying with the youth population being around 67 percent their voice would be emphatic.
