Tanto Wavie makes waves with new track

BY KUDZAI CHITSATSO TRAP sungura musician Shingirai Makaza, aka Tanto Wavie, is trending on the music scene including online music platforms with his latest single titled Muhupenyu.

The single, which was released on Thursday, has taken the attention of many viewers on YouTube, accumulating 5 104 views and 754 likes in 24 hours of its release.

The track Muhupenyu is educative and warns on the after effects of stress and how it can lead to mental health.

Many people, including Tanto Wavie’s relatives have given the youthful singer thumbs up.

“My son l will always support you till to the end,” commented the musician’s father Ken Makaza on social media.

Two weeks ago Tanto Wavie released another single with Stacy Macheso titled Unoona.

The single is doing well on online music platforms.

Tanto Wavie changed his beat and last year he tried to modernise sungura music when he incorporated trap music on most songs on his 14-track album.

In April, the musician released an Extended Play titled Amasungura.
