Wicknell Chivayo inspires

Wicknell Chivayo

YOUNG Wilfred Munyaradzi Kahlari, a local author, software developer, and entrepreneur says he is on a mission to inspire and empower his fellow citizens to reach new heights of success with his upcoming book, Think Like Sir Wicknell.

Set to be launched next month, Kahlari's latest work offers a deep dive into the principles, mindset, and habits of some of Zimbabwe's most successful and resilient figures, with a particular focus on businessman and philanthropist, Chivayo.

For Kahlari, the inspiration behind writing Think Like Sir Wicknell stemmed from his admiration for Chivayo’s bold vision, business acumen, and unwavering belief in creating opportunities for Zimbabweans to thrive.

“Sir Wicknell is a Zimbabwean icon whose story embodies resilience, boldness, and vision," Kahlari said. His ability to network and position himself globally is extraordinary.

Imagine being welcomed by presidents, including His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa, a leader who creates opportunities for Zimbabweans to thrive. Sir Wicknell’s business acumen, generosity, and intelligence make him a figure worth celebrating.

He is a testament to the fact that success is attainable with faith, bold decisions, and strategic thinking.”

This book is not just about one man's success. It highlights the mindset and strategies of other influential Zimbabweans like Strive Masiyiwa, Emmanuel Makandiwa, and Boss Scott.

Through these real-life stories, Kahlari encourages readers to adopt a proactive and strategic approach to wealth creation, resilience, and leadership.

The book aims to serve as a comprehensive motivational guide for those who aspire to turn their dreams into reality.

Kahlari’s passion for writing stems from his belief in the transformative power of books.

"Books have a unique and timeless power. They outlive the writer, carrying messages and stories across generations. I want my words to inspire someone years from now to take bold steps toward their dreams."

His first book, Fooling Your Way to Success, also reflected his commitment to empowering individuals to overcome challenges through unconventional strategies.

“It was well-received and paved the way for Think Like Sir Wicknell, which I hope will become a movement, an inspiration for Zimbabweans to rise above adversity and create legacies of their own,” he said.

The book was edited by Bishop Chadambuka, whose wisdom and meticulous attention to detail helped bring Kahlari's vision to life.

"Bishop Chadambuka's involvement added depth to the message and ensured that the final product resonates with readers on a profound level," Kahlari said.

“I am thrilled to announce that we will launch Think Like Sir Wicknell this February. I aim to make this book accessible to as many people as possible.

“It’s not just a book, it’s a movement to empower Zimbabweans to rise above challenges, embrace opportunities, and build legacies. Beyond the launch, I hope to collaborate with schools, businesses, and organisations to spread the message and inspire more success stories nationwide.”

For Kahlari, Think Like Sir Wicknell represents more than just business principles, it is a call to action for all Zimbabweans to cultivate the mindset and habits needed to achieve greatness.
