PROMINENT Bulawayo forex dealer Tendai Nyandoro has died.

Popularly known as “Mazhazha” or “Tindo”, Nyandoro passed away at Mpilo Central Hospital on Monday after a long struggle with diabetes.

He was 54

Nyandoro’s wife, Nokuthula Vundla confirmed his death.

“He has been living with diabetes for 10 years now and it only got worse last week,” she said.

“We took him to hospital on Friday night, where he got admitted.”

Nyandoro had been a money changer in the city since 2004.

He contested for the Makokoba constituency seat under the United Movement for Devolution (UMD) party during the 2018 elections and lost.

UMD leader Lovemore Moyo said: “He was a prominent person. We worked together during the 2018 elections. He contested under my party when we had just launched it.”
