Mulk Medicare Zim launches groundbreaking virtual hospital ecosystem

MULK Medicare Zim Healthcare has introduced a revolutionary virtual hospital in Zimbabwe, transforming the nation’s healthcare landscape.

Under the leadership of esteemed global healthcare leader and digital innovator Nawab Shafi ul Mulk, this advanced global healthcare platform offers comprehensive, technologically sophisticated medical care.

“Mulk Medicare Zim is a transformative initiative that will provide equitable, top-tier healthcare to all Zimbabweans,” Mulk told NewsDay in an interview.

“We have developed a hybrid model that seamlessly integrates online consultations with on-site care, offering a 360-degree, 24/7 healthcare solution tailored to the diverse needs of Zimbabwe's population.”

Mulk Medicare is supported by a vast network of 10 000 medical professionals, over 100 global hospitals and more than 500 service providers, including pharmacies, clinics and laboratories.

Global specialists are ready to travel at any time to deliver timely, personalised care.

“Our extensive pool of doctors enables us to address a wide range of medical conditions, including the challenges of pandemics, chronic diseases and cancer prevalent in Zimbabwe,” Mulk explained.

A key advantage of the Mulk Medicare system is its accessibility, particularly in rural and underserved areas.

As Mulk Medicare establishes its presence and expands its reach, the vision of a healthier, more accessible and more affordable future for all Zimbabweans becomes a reality.

“This is a revolutionary concept that will transform healthcare delivery across Zimbabwe. We are just beginning and the impact will soon unfold,” Mulk said.

“By integrating Starlink satellite technology, we can offer high-speed connectivity, connecting patients in remote locations with our network of doctors for real-time consultations and treatment,” said King Masenda, chairperson of Pro Health Insurance and local partner.

The affordability of Mulk Medicare is a significant distinguishing feature.

By leveraging on online services and forming strategic partnerships with local healthcare providers, the system aims to substantially reduce the cost of medical care for Zimbabweans.

“We are aware of the financial barriers many face and our goal is to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone in Zimbabwe,” Mulk said.

“We continue our commitment and investments to bring new technologies and industries in line with Mulk Zim Global Investments US$500 million project like Zim Cyber City, etc, under the patronage and blessings of HE Emmerson Mnangagwa, the President of Zimbabwe.”

Additionally, Mulk Medicare is poised to address the current gaps in Zimbabwe’s healthcare infrastructure, according to Mulk Healthcare partner David Gary Broom.

“We acknowledge the shortage of essential medical equipment, such as PET CT scan machines, crucial for cancer diagnosis and treatment. We are optimistic about partnering Mulk International to bring this vital facility to save many lives,” said Masenda.

“Rest assured, we are dedicated to providing these critical resources to Zimbabwe, ensuring our people receive the comprehensive care they deserve.”

The launch of Mulk Medicare on September 21 sparked optimism and excitement among Zimbabweans.

“This initiative resonates deeply with our people,” Masenda added.

“We aim to change lives, save lives, and revolutionise healthcare delivery in Zimbabwe.”
