Fans of prominent South African actor, Sello Sebotsane have said that society must just let him live the way he wants and that he is not a madman.
Sebotsane, popularly known as 'Bra Sello' by his fans, sparked controversy with his recent TikTok content showing him oddly singing with a bath towel wrapped around his head.
The videos, which are of the 54-year-old, have gathered mixed reactions from viewers with others seeing the content as unsettling saying that the actor is going through depression after his divorce with ex wife Shoki Mmola (previously Sebotsane).
His ex-wife and two kids posted a TikTok video not saying much, but just shaking their heads, an act which fans took as as sign of dissaproval of his acts.
Loyal fans, however, said the man was a creative who is finding new ways of expressing himself while keeping a smile on his face.
Sebotsane is yet to answer the questions on his recent TikTok activity as some worry that he might tarnish his acting reputation.
Sebotsane is famous for roles on television series such Stokvel, Those Who Can't, 90 Plein Street and Rockville and on Scandal as Prosecutor Serwalo.
Fans argue that the videos represent his creative freedom and individuality, emphasising that artistic expression should not be censored or limited by societal expectations.

Other influencers such as Seemah have been seen mimicking Sebotsane although it is not clear whether it is in support or mockery.
