Kay Flow to perform at exclusive Zim Hip-Hop Awards

Rapper Kay Flow

Rapper Kay Flow is set to grace the stage once again at the Zim Hip-Hop Awards, scheduled for December 13, 2024, at Royal Gate Gardens in Chisipite. The event will be held under the theme Beyond the Beat.

Last year, Kay Flow not only performed, but also took home an award at the 7 Arts Theatre.

This year, he's poised to captivate the audience with his latest EP, Nyama Drive, featuring hits like Gede.

In a significant departure from the previous years, the Zim Hip-Hop Awards will be an exclusive, invite-only affair. Awards director Adrian "Beefy" Harrison explained that this decision aims to elevate the prestige of the event and provide a more intimate experience for the hip-hop community.

"We're restructuring the event to find a format that aligns with our brand," Beefy said. "The Hip-Hop Awards is now rebranded as a once-off exclusive event to live up to our billing. It's not a public concert; we want our artistes to feel truly celebrated."

For those who wish to attend the event, limited tickets are available for purchase at US$20, with only 100 tickets up for grabs.
