Manzungu among key speakers at regional business conference

Manzungu will share the platform with top regional businesspeople and academics including fellow countryman Ken Sharpe, South Africans Mathew Phosa, Kgathane Paulina Mamogobo, Mamokgheti Phakheti and Asanda Luwaca.

Zimbabwean businessman Tinashe Manzungu has been selected among keynote speakers for the Africa Business Conference 2024 to be held in South Africa in October.

The conference is facilitated annually by Big Business Africa, an organisation that seeks to empower businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals by creating a thriving ecosystem that unlocks Africa’s vast potential.

Manzungu will share the platform with top regional businesspeople and academics including fellow countryman Ken Sharpe, South Africans Mathew Phosa, Kgathane Paulina Mamogobo, Mamokgheti Phakheti and Asanda Luwaca.

Cumbi Junior from Angola and Salimo Abdula from Mozambique complete the lineup for speakers at the conference that will be held in Johannesburg on October 16 and 17.

“We are excited to announce that Dr Manzungu, a  distinguished Zimbabwean businessman with international honours under his portfolio will be a keynote speaker at the Africa Business Conference 2024,” reads a statement from Big Business Africa.

“He is known to be one of the prominent entrepreneurs in Zimbabwe with interests in construction, financial services, and insurance.

“He is a board member for Africa Business Council, board director for the Comesa Business Council, where he co-chairs the Infrastructure subcommittee.”

Manzungu was excited by the honour.

“South Africa,  we are coming!,” he posted on his Facebook page.

“I shall be part of the trajectory defining think tanks.

“Would want to sponsor three serious business young people.”

Manzungu is celebrated entrepreneur and the cofounder of Zimbuild, a thriving infrastructure development real estate business that has since diversified to TM Group, a diversified investment portfolio with interest in insurance, financial services and healthcare under Clientsure Group.
