Byo ends year with Munch ‘n’ Sip

Partnering with Castle Lite and Coca-Cola Zimbabwe, the party heats up at Queens Sports Club headlined by South African heavyweight Busta 929.

THE Munch and Sip Food Festival explodes onto the scene today bringing a delicious farewell to the year.

Partnering with Castle Lite and Coca-Cola Zimbabwe, the party heats up at Queens Sports Club headlined by South African heavyweight Busta 929.

But the local scene shines too, with Brintz, Mandie Mae, Bhila, Travellers Band, and DJ Ash T taking turns to rock the crowds.

Munch & Sip brand consultant, Ntando Ndlovu confirmed the developments to the Standard Style yesterday.

“In this year’s December edition, we have partnered with Castle Lite as our music and  stage partner.  They have helped us widen our line-up of local musicians and DJs, allowing us to give local talent a major platform to showcase their skills," Ndlovu said.

“We will  also have a Castle Lite Beer Garden this year. We have a zeal to grow local foodie entrepreneurship and so we curate and deliver mouth-watering finds from street-food vendors, emerging catering businesses and also host some of Zimbabwe’s most prominent chefs to showcase in our famed Food Court.”

Ndlovu also said this  year they  partnered with Coca-Cola Zimbabwe as their Sip partner.

“They will  be allocating free cokes for each food stall to pair with their meals during the Coca-Cola Happy Hour on event day. Munch & Sip is a food festival that’s built to celebrate good food and the culinary diversity found across Africa.

“Our festival headlines major foodies and “home-grown chefs”, while bringing together the art of food, music and Bulawayo’s amazing vibes to give you one of the best gourmet food festivals in Zimbabwe with over 21000+ accumulative attendees over the years since our first edition,” he added.
